葛尾村でのエゴマ栽培も今年で8年目となりました。この日は種から育てたエゴマ苗の定植作業を行いました。15㎝ほどに育った約4500本の苗を学生、農家さん、村職員、教職員など約40名で手作業で植えました。 本事業は、福島イノベ機構「復興知」事業の一環として実施しております。 ①育った苗を運び出す様子 ②農家さんから定植方法を教わる様子 ③定植作業の様子 ④定植されたエゴマ苗

短大健康栄養学科では、葛尾村の凍みもちを普及するために、凍みもちを利用した商品の開発に取り組んでいます。凍みもちを使った商品の前に、まず凍みもちを知らないと！ということで、毎年6月中旬ごろに葛尾村にある「女子大農場」に凍みもちに使うもち草「オヤマボクチ」の定植を行っています。葛尾村では「ごんぼっ葉」と呼ばれているものです。 今年は６月22日（土）に健康栄養学科の学生８名と教員３名で、栽培面積を少し増やした葛尾村「女子大農場」に300株のオヤマボクチの苗を植えました。 【左上；収穫前のオヤマボクチ、右上；収穫後のオヤマボクチ、下；収穫した葉を広げて乾燥】 オヤマボクチは年に2～3回、その葉を収穫することできます。定植時に合わせ、葉の収穫も行ってきました。刈り取った葉は農家さ ...
