設立及び目的1874年設立（日本は1877年加盟）。世界で2番目に古い国際機関です。設立当初の名称は一般郵便連合（General Postal Union）で、1878年に万国郵便連合（UPU）に改称しました。2020年9月現在、192か国・地域が加盟しており、各国の郵便事業体の協力・連携のための中心的な団体となっています。本部：ベルン（スイス）目的：加盟諸国で郵便物を相互交換できるようにすること、郵便業務の組織化及び完成を確保し、かつ、この分野において国際協力の増進を助長すること、加盟国が要請する郵便に関する技術援助にできる限り参加すること等（万国郵便連合憲章 第1条）。組織構成大会議（Congress）、管理理事会（Council of Administration）、郵便業務理事会（Postal Operations Council）、国際事務局（International Bureau）で構成されています。大会議 ...
