Some patients are positive for anti-ARS antibodies on enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) but negative on RNA-immunoprecipitation (RNA-IP) (the gold standard method). Whether these patients should be considered truly positive for anti-ARS antibodies remains unclear. Among them, inductive power transfer (IPT) technology is most promising for daily usage in households. Foreign metal detection (FMD) is indispensable for IPT applications because foreign metal heats up easily in the magnetic field generated by IPT devices and causes a dangerous situation. On the other hand, the representation of the foreign metal as an equivalent circuit model is not readily available. Therefore, we need to use finite element method (FEM)-based electromagnetic field simulators, which require massive computation time and cost. タイトル: いかに‘一緒に遊ぶ’のか: ニホンザルの取っ組み合い遊びの始まり方と終わり方著者: 壹岐, 朔巳抄録: Achieving ‘doing something together’ requires more than mere physical proximity and bidirectional behavior; interactants must construct a situation where both parties are intersubjectively engaged in a shared interactional space to achieve ‘togetherness.’ This paper summarizes how immature Japanese macaques (Macaca fuscata) achieve (and sometimes fail to achieve) ‘playing together’ by reviewing our research on the opening and closing phases of play fighting. Our research indicates (1) that the face-to-face configuration during the opening of play contributes to the establishment of intersubjective engagement, (2) that facial signals during the opening phase honestly reflect an individual's motivation to play but are not used tactically to invite reluctant or infrequent partners, and (3) that the ways in ...

タイトル: Double MAC on a Cell: A 22-nm 8T-SRAM-Based Analog In-Memory Accelerator for Binary/Ternary Neural Networks Featuring Split Wordline著者: Tagata, Hiroto; Sato, Takashi; Awano, Hiromitsu抄録: This paper proposes a novel 8T-SRAM based computing-in-memory (CIM) accelerator for the Binary/Ternary neural networks. The proposed split dual-port 8T-SRAM cell has two input ports, simultaneously performing two binary multiply-and-accumulate (MAC) operations on left and right bitlines. This approach enables a twofold increase in throughput without significantly increasing area or power consumption, since the area overhead for doubling throughput is only two additional WL wires compared to the conventional 8T-SRAM. In addition, the proposed circuit supports binary and ternary activation input, allowing flexible adjustment of high energy efficiency and high inference accuracy depending on the application. タイトル: Analyzing demand reduction and recovery of major rail stations in Japan during COVID-19 using mobile spatial statistics著者: Dai, Jiannan; Schmöcker, Jan-Dirk; Sun, Wenzhe抄録: Mobile spatial statistics from across Japan are used to analyze the vitality of stations over the COVID period. Time series population information of 500m × 500m meshes that include major stations are extracted. We analyze the demand loss patterns of 69 train stations during the first COVID wave. We firstly discuss the correlation of this data with annual ridership information. We then conduct a clustering analysis of the time series data and distinguish five impact patterns which we try to explain with a multinomial logistic regression. Stations in large cities had higher ridership but were also more affected than smaller cities. We also find that cities with less dense populations and more local population frequenting the station appear to be more robust to the pandemic. Our results can be ...

タイトル: Analysis of the temperature-dependent plastic deformation of single crystals of quinary, quaternary and ternary equiatomic high- and medium-entropy alloys of the Cr-Mn-Fe-Co-Ni system著者: Li, Le; Chen, Zhenghao; Tei, Seiko; Matsuo, Yusuke; Chiba, Ryosuke; Yuge, Koretaka; Inui, Haruyuki; George, Easo P.抄録: Temperature-dependent plastic deformation behaviors of single crystals of quaternary and ternary equiatomic medium-entropy alloys (MEAs) belonging to the Cr-Mn-Fe-Co-Ni system were investigated in compression at temperatures in the range 9 K to 1373 K. Their critical resolved shear stresses (CRSSs) increase with decreasing temperature below room temperature. There is also a dulling of the temperature dependence of CRSS below 77 K due to dislocation inertial effects that we attribute to a decrease in the phonon drag coefficient. In Japan, the vaccination coverage among students remained low up to early 2022, especially for 5-11-year-olds. The vaccination of the student population only started in February 2022. Given this background and considering that vaccine effectiveness against school transmission has not been intensively studied, this paper proposes a mathematical model that links the occurrence of clustering to the case count among populations aged 0-19, 20-59, and 60+ years of age.
