タイトル: Enantioselective Synthesis of 1,2-Benzothiazine 1-Imines via Ru[II]/Chiral Carboxylic Acid-Catalyzed C−H Alkylation/Cyclization著者: Huang, Long-Tao; Kitakawa, Yuta; Yamada, Kodai; Kamiyama, Futa; Kojima, Masahiro; Yoshino, Tatsuhiko; Matsunaga, Shigeki抄録: Sulfondiimines are diaza-analogues of sulfones with a chiral sulfur center. Compared to sulfones and sulfoximines, their synthesis and transformations have so far been studied to a lesser extent. Here, we report the enantioselective synthesis of 1, 2-benzothiazine 1-imines, i.e., cyclic sulfondiimine derivatives from sulfondiimines and sulfoxonium ylides via C−H alkylation/cyclization reactions. The combination of [Ru(p-cymene)Cl₂]₂ and a newly developed chiral spiro carboxylic acid is key to achieving high enantioselectivity.

Design: Regression discontinuity design. SETTING: Nationwide medical claims database in Japan. PARTICIPANTS: Children aged younger than 20 years from April 2018 to March 2022. EXPOSURE: Co-insurance rate that increases sharply from 0% to 30% at a certain age threshold (the threshold age varies between 6 and 20 years depending on region). PRIMARY OUTCOME MEASURES: The outpatient care usage (outpatient visit days and healthcare spending for outpatient care) and inpatient care (experience of any hospitalisation and healthcare spending for inpatient care).
