国産食肉を使った料理のアイデアを競う「2024ミートデリカコンテスト」福島県大会で大学食物栄養学科１年、石井汐菜（せな）さんが最優秀賞に輝きました。 石井さんが考案したのは「屋台風鶏団子」。鶏ひき肉を団子にして、たこ焼き風にソースとかつお節をかけました。団子にはショウガを加えた隠し味も効いています。 福島県食肉事業協同組合連合会主催の県大会には１５２人が応募し、書類審査を通過した８人が福島市で開かれた実技審査に臨みました。 最優秀賞の石井さんは来年１月に東京都で開かれる全国大会へ出場します。

Scincella fansipanensis sp. nov. is distinguished from other Scincella species in the Indochina region and southern China by body size (SVL), separation of prefrontals, number of midbody scale rows, paravertebral scale rows, nuchals and subdigital lamellae on toe IV, separation of toe from finger when limbs are adpressed along the body, and dorsal color pattern. 10月31日に「学長・副学長と学友会学生の懇談会」を開催しました。懇談会は年に1～2回開催され、学生が学長・副学長と直接話し合えるよい機会となっています。 今回の懇談会では、各科カリキュラムや大学の閉門時間、講義室の環境等を中心に、大学側に学生が望む改善点等について報告し、学長ならびに副学長と意見交換を行いました。 学長らは学生からの意見にしっかり耳を傾け、学長自身のこれまでの経験を含めて1つ1つの内容に丁寧に考えを述べられました。 参加した学生からは、学長・副学長と直接会話することができて良かった。自分たちの意見を聞いてもらえたという喜びを感じた。今後の大学生活が楽しみであると感想を述べていました。
