大学での外国語学習における遠隔通信技術活用のための授業デザインに関する考察

タイトル: 大学での外国語学習における遠隔通信技術活用のための授業デザインに関する考察著者: 塚原, 信行抄録: This paper describes the experience of Spanish classes at the Aichi Prefectura! University in cooperation with the University of Barcelona (Spain) and tries to point out some factors to develop course design to maximize the efficiency of the use of network technologies in the classroom. In recent years, the introduction of network technologies into the foreign language classroom has become easier and less expensive and has provided us with a new possibility to face a real problem occurring in the class. However, if the course design does not take its peculiarity into account, we cannot benefit from the introduced technologies. In response to that, we adopted PDSA cycle and made the entire course "session driven". One of the advantages of PDSA cycle is its potentiality to act as a trigger to foster independent learners. Even though so ...
Demonstration and Characterization of the Heterodimerization of ZnT5 and ZnT6 in the Early Secretory Pathway

However, ZnT5, ZnT6, and their orthologues form hetero-oligomers in the early secretory pathway where they load zinc onto zinc-requiring enzymes and maintain secretory pathway functions. The details of this hetero-oligomerization remain to be elucidated, and much more is known about homo-oligomerization that occurs in other CDF/ZnT family proteins. Here, we addressed this issue using co-immunoprecipitation experiments, mutagenesis, and chimera studies of hZnT5 and hZnT6 in chicken DT40 cells deficient in ZnT5, ZnT6, and ZnT7 proteins. We found that hZnT5 and hZnT6 combine to form heter ...

Gene expression profiles of transcription factors and signaling molecules in the ascidian embryo: towards a comprehensive understanding of gene networks

タイトル: Gene expression profiles of transcription factors and signaling molecules in the ascidian embryo: towards a comprehensive understanding of gene networks著者: Imai S, Kaoru; Hino, Kyosuke; Yagi, Kasumi; Satoh, Nori; Satou, Yutaka抄録: Achieving a real understanding of animal development obviously requires a comprehensive rather than partial identification of the genes working in each developmental process. Recent decoding of genome sequences will enable us to perform such studies. An ascidian, Ciona intestinalis, one of the animals whose genome has been sequenced, is a chordate sharing a basic body plan with vertebrates, although its genome contains less paralogs than are usually seen in vertebrates. In the present study, we discuss the genomewide approach to networks of developmental genes in Ciona embryos. We focus on transcription factor genes and some major groups of signal transduction genes. These genes are comprehensively listed and examined with regard to their ...
