Genotype data on 33, 059 SNPs was used. タイトル: Grain-scale investigation of swash zone sediment transport on a gravel beach using DEM-MPS coupled scheme著者: Tazaki, Takumi; Harada, Eiji; Gotoh, Hitoshi抄録: Sediment transport in the swash zone directly affects beach changes such as shoreline recession; thus, detailed understandings of sediment transport mechanisms are necessary to accurately estimate the short-time scales sediment transport rate. However, these detailed mechanisms under runup waves have not been elucidated because of the complex solid-gas-liquid multiphase turbulence flow. In this study, we attempt to numerically investigate the sediment grain-scale mechanism to overcome the shortcomings of experimental measurements and the free surface treatment in many numerical simulations. タイトル: Horses’ Social Evaluation of Human Third-Party Interactions著者: Sugimoto, Takuto; Hirata, Satoshi抄録: Humans evaluate others by observing their interactions with third parties that are not directly related to the observers’ interests. Such third-party evaluations have not been well-studied in nonhuman animals. In this study, we investigated whether horses socially evaluate humans based on their third-party interactions. We used a helping paradigm similar to that used in earlier studies with dogs and cats: that is, the horses watched as an experimenter (attempter) tried unsuccessfully to open a container in order to remove an object and then asked another actor on his right (i.e., helper/non-helper) for help. The actor either helped the attempter or refused the request by turning away. After this interaction, the attempter repeated the same procedure with another actor on his left. タイトル: Dynamic Modeling of Magnetic Core Materials for Sub-MHz Range using Cauer Circuit著者: Okuda, Ichiro; Matsuo, Tetsuji抄録: In this study, the frequency response of nanocrystalline soft magnetic materials for sinusoidal and pulse inputs in the sub-MHz range was simulated using a combination of a play model and the Cauer circuit. The resistance and static hysteretic properties of the inductors in the circuit were determined from B-H loop measurements at two frequencies. For the convenience of parameter identification, several analytical solutions of the eddy current field were introduced and compared. Transient gene expression in fruit enables the functional analysis of genes associated with fruit traits, which may accelerate the study of fruit physiology. Here, by using the recently developed “Tsukuba system”, we successfully established an efficient transient expression system in harvested fruit tissues. In addition, we constructed a production environment and confirmed that art fashion can be produced in a short time [1] . Wearing art in everyday life is a new experience, and it will be interesting to see what impressions people get of it. We took advantage of the opportunity of the art fashion exhibition and asked the audience to evaluate the art fashions using a questionnaire. Mrs. B, who had a hard time with her flexible work, and Mrs. F, said they always wanted to go back to the villages. Despite Mrs. B, Mrs. H, and Mrs. J, said they enjoyed the “Peidu” life, they wanted to eventually return to the villages.
