タイトル: How to Set the “Chirality” of Polyhedral Small Molecule Hydrocarbons: Decoration and Editing of Cubane Skeleton著者: Takebe, Hiyori; Matsubara, Seijiro抄録: Small polyhedral hydrocarbons represented by cubane have attracted attention as potential molecular scaffolds for pharmaceuticals as benzene bioisoster. Cubane is also expected to be used as a chiral scaffold, but due to its high symmetry, it is necessary to introduce chirality by sequential site-selective introduction of substituents. Furthermore, polyhedral desymmetrized isomers of cubane, such as cuneane and semibullvalene, and extended cage compounds, such as bishomocubane and homocuneane, exhibit chirality and are also expected to be used as new optically active scaffolds. In this concept, we would like to explain the synthetic routes we have planned, specifically, the decoration and editing of the cubane skeleton.

We emphasized the impact of social capital and social relationships in local communities, considering both individual and societal factors. The prevailing values in Japanese culture tend to foster a sustained and stable form of interdependent happiness among older adults, suggesting that communal support systems play an important role. To safely perform BNCT, the neutron and γ-ray distributions inside the treatment room and the whole-body dose should be evaluated during commissioning. タイトル: Hysteretic magnetic field analysis with Second-Order homogenization著者: Matsuo, Tetsuji抄録: A dynamic hysteresis model represented by the Cauer circuit was combined with the finite element analysis to efficiently compute magnetic field in micro-structured iron-cores. A finite element eddy-current analysis with higher order homogenization method is reformulated to implement the Cauer circuit representation. Three types of hysteretic Cauer circuits for the 2nd-order homogenization were examined. The analysis of wounded core under sinusoidal excitation showed that the 2nd order homogenization scheme with finite difference approximation improved the accuracy of representation of iron loss and current-flux loops. The 2nd-order scheme also improved the accuracy of homogenized representation under pulse-width-modulation excitation. The computation time was greatly reduced by the homogenization schemes.

The current research was an empirical study investigating the role of risk propensity, lifetime employment orientation, and entrepreneurship-related exploratory behaviour in developing the entrepreneurial intention of university students in Japan. Data were collected from 214 undergraduate students in Japan. The results demonstrated that the risk propensity characteristic of students influenced entrepreneurial intentions through entrepreneurship-related exploratory behaviour and lifetime employment orientation.
