学友会では新たなSDGs活動として、2024年12月下旬から2025年4月上旬までの期間で、便用済みカイロの回収を実施しました。 なぜカイロの回収を行ったの？と疑問に思っている人がたくさんいるのではないでしょうか。使い捨てカイロの中身は、水質浄化剤や土壌改良剤としてリサイクルされ、河川や農地などの環境保全に役立てられていることを知ったことが始まりです。 本来捨てるはずの使い捨てカイロで、私たちでも環境保護の取り組みに貢献することができる！ということから、学内での回収を呼びかけました。 その結果、学生・教職員の皆様からご提供頂いた使用済みカイロは、あわせてダンボール4箱分（140サイズ2箱、120サイズ2箱）となり、一般社団法人 Go Green Japan様（https://go-green-japan.jp/）へ4月14日付けで発送しました。 ...

タイトル: Locating Critical Points Using Ratios of Lee-Yang Zeros著者: Wada, Tatsuya; Kitazawa, Masakiyo; Kanaya, Kazuyuki抄録: We propose a method to numerically determine the location of a critical point in general systems using the finite-size scaling of Lee-Yang zeros. This method makes use of the fact that the ratios of Lee-Yang zeros on various spatial volumes intersect at the critical point. While the method is similar to the Binder-cumulant analysis, it is advantageous in suppressing the finite-volume effects arising from the mixing of variables in general systems.
