下記2資料より、福井空港がある場所（福井県坂井市春江町江留中50丁目1-2）は、戦時中水田だった可能性が高い。また、昭和20年夏に春江駅付近に焼夷弾が約50発落下したそうだが、大きな被害はなかったらしく、詳細は確認できなかった。『春江町史』,春江町,1969. 国立国会図書館デジタルコレクション https://dl.ndl.go.jp/pid/9535976/ (参照 2024-10-17)・・・p1106に、「福井空港の開港」節あり。p1107に、”昭和38年（1963年）春江町江留中・藤鷲塚地籍でボーリンによる地盤調査の結果県内では、もっとも空港に適した藤鷲塚・江留中・沖布目の水田を土地改良により約30町歩の土地を提供することによって決定した。”と記載あり。巻末年表p1193に、昭和20年”春江駅附近焼夷弾約50発落下、大した損害なし”と記載あり。ほか「部落史」編なども確認 ...
